Work In Progress

The work to the house will be phased, and will progress in an easterly direction. Work will initially be undertaken from a crane and dangerous overhanging masonry will be taken down under archaeological supervision. Scaffold will then be erected and repairs undertaken to the building fabric. At the end of six years on site, the ruin will be stable and full public access at ground floor level will be possible.
